It is with deep sadness we share that our beloved Mother passed away on Monday evening the 19th of October.  

Her son's Jake and Andy were with her at the end ...holding her.  We will write more personal feelings and remembrances about her later, but at the moment we wanted to get the word out for those who would like to attend her services. 

Those at a distance are invited to share a prayer, good thoughts, intentions, etc. 

Details are below. We will love and miss her always but know she will live within our hearts forever.

Stephany Jane Gersack Tornatzky
December 17, 1942 - October 19, 2015

Surrounded by family , she passed away after an extended illness. She was the youngest of 3 children born to Rose and John Gersack. Raised in Dayton, Ohio, She earned her Bachelor's at Ohio State University and Graduate Studies at Michigan State University.  Stephany gave back to her community, volunteering and perfoming public services within all the communities she lived in.  She was especialy was active with Mother Teresa's Convent & Monastery in Washington, DC. In her professional life Stephany was a teacher, researcher and investor. She was a creative, artistic, loving person who strived to help and assist others.  She enjoyed the great ourdoors, music, and the arts.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Rose and John Gersack.  She is survived by sister Linda Peters of Mashpee, Massachusetts brother Robert Gersack of Glen Arbor Michigan, son Jake Tornatzky of Fort Collins, Colorado, son Andy Tornatzky of Littleton, Colorado.  Stephany was the proud grandparent of Sarah Elizabeth Tornatzky of Denver, CO, Leo Tornatzky of Fort Collins, Colorado and Zach Tornatzky of Litteton, Colorado.  Stephany had numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra Elfenbein (Stanfield)

It is with profound sadness that I learn of Janie's passing.  I hesrd that she was serously ill at our Colonel White High School Reunion held on October 17th, two days before she died.  We shared many fond expriences throughout highschool and college at Ohio State.  I will remember her with love in my heart. Barb Jenkins (Teague)

Jane was so full of life during our high school years.  She loved to joke around and always called me Jenks.  So sorry to hear about her passing along with so many other class mates.  RIP Jane and suffer no more.
